Hello, friends of Tusubira!
We wanted to let you know that Tusubira is currently undergoing some organizational changes. After much thought and prayer, we are excited about a new direction and vision for our organization as well as what we feel will be a more sustainable model of supporting our brothers and sisters in Uganda. However, we covet your prayers as we spend the next months planning and visioning this new direction. We are looking forward to sharing more with you in the months to come! Stay tuned!
Peace to you,
Kate – for the entire Tusubira team.

Tusubira’s friend Tanner Weber’s Mosquito Net Drive was a great success! Enough funds were raised to buy over 200 mosquito nets for the kiddos at STAO and greater Mafubira village! The mosquito nets will significantly help prevent number of malaria among vulnerable children at STAO!

Emergency Aid was a great success, thanks to everyone who has been incredibly generous in giving to the immediate disaster relief fund to alleviate the dire situation at STAO and Mafubira due to recent flood in the region. The new latrines construction has begun and will be completed by end of December.
Thanks to you, the children of STAO and greater Mafubira will have access to sanitary latrines soon!
Mukama yebazibwe!
Mafubira, like many places in Uganda, has recently suffered devastating damages due to heavy storms and flooding in the region. Most notably for STAO, it has caused over flooding and destruction of the latrines on site, which have left the children at STAO extremely vulnerable to poor sanitations and infectious diseases. They are left with no choice but to rebuild the latrines asap, but construction costs in Uganda are very high, making this a near impossible task for a small grassroots organization like STAO.
You can help now to rebuild the latrines!
Join us in our effort to raise $2600 by December 15th to support STAO’s rebuilding efforts!
