Thoughts before the trip

Africa has always been on my heart and I felt like this was a good time in my life to go on a missions trip. I ran across the STAO site and they put me in contact with Kate. When I heard about the group and how they need help I knew this is where God wanted me to go. I feel like God wants me to go and serve Him in a way I have never experienced before. I want to show people love through Christ. I know God is saying “Go Lindsey…Go to Africa and serve. Lindsey, give people a taste of my love”. Now I am saying “My heart belongs in Uganda”. I know it will be an experience that will impact me for the rest of my life and I am looking forward to see what God has planned for me and for the people I will work with. – Lindsey

Trip Recap

In June 2007, Lindsey spent 3 weeks teaching at STAO’s primary school while also taking inventory and catching up on the donations given to STAO during the previous year.
