Qahar has been involved in the Khan Academy Pashto translation project since 2016. He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Kabul University. Qahar’s commitment to his community urged him to start volunteering with different non-profit platforms; i.e. He was a team leader in AIESEC, an international non-governmental non-profit youth leadership organization that creates internship and social impact projects for young people. Moreover, his professional experience includes, working with GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation), and the Ministry of Energy and Water of Afghanistan.
Qahar was born in Laghman, Afghanistan. He participated in two international science Olympiads on behalf of his country in 2012 and 2013 respectively. In addition to his native languages, Qahar is fluent in English and Turkish. His hobbies are reading sci-fi novels and playing cricket.
